Sam Beeler

    Sam Beeler is a third year film and media studies major at UCSB.  Originally from San Diego, California, Beeler earned an athletic scholarship to UCSB and currently plays for the school's men's basketball team. During his sophomore year at UCSB, Beeler was able to participate in the non-profit organization Freedom 4 Youth.  It is a group that helps provide opportunities for those in the juvenile justice system.

    Beeler enjoys watching sports, his favorite teams include the San Diego Chargers and the Oklahoma City Thunder.  His favorite books to read are the Harry Potter novels as well as The Walking Dead comic books.  His favorite movies are Reservoir Dogs and the Dark Knight films.  His hobbies include listening to and making music, watching and making movies, and writing.
