Maxine Ansaldo

     Maxine Ansaldo is a third year Global Studies and English major at the University of California, Santa Barbara. One of Maxine's greatest hobbies is reading, and she hopes to one day become a book editor. In addition, Maxine has always been interested in learning different languages as well as learning about the diverse cultures around the globe. These are the reason that inspired her educational path.

     Maxine spent her past summer working as a caretaker for infants and toddlers at UCSB's Family Vacation Canter. She hopes to spend her next summer studying abroad in Brazil in a Portuguese immersion program as she has spent her time so far studying Spanish.      

     Maxine is also a UCSB cheerleader, where she competes with her team in college competitions as well as cheering for the university's men's soccer team as well as women's and men's basketball.
