Katelyn Hartvigsen

Katelyn Hartvigsen is a third year English major studying at University of California, Santa Barbara. She is originally from San Diego, California and entered into UCSB fall 2012.
Katelyn is currently employed at the Annual Fund on campus, a program which collects donations from alumni and parents in order to fund free programs for students such as CLAS and EAP. She loves the feeling of giving back to her school and is proud of her success thus far at UCSB.
Katelyn is majoring in English in hopes to become an elementary school teacher. She loves helping others and plans on teaching either 2nd or 3rd grade. Helping children has always been a passion of hers and she has volunteered with multiple children's hospitals as well as schools. She is lucky enough to have discovered this passion for teaching at a very young age, and she cannot wait to start teaching and helping others.
Katelyn is also involved with multiple other community service programs throughout Santa Barbara. She is a member of the sorority Delta Gamma and in her free time enjoys dancing, going to the beach, and running.
